Our highly specialized team of eleven scientists developed formulas exclusive to OMY Laboratories headed up by our co-founders, Rachelle Séguin, Chemist (M.sc.) and Justine Riou, Doctor of Pharmacy.
1 Acne Prone Skin
Ingredient 1 [Ac] is Fireweed Extract. Found in Canada, it is known for limiting the proliferation of the C. acnes bacteria, involved in acne, responsible for pimples, blackheads, and excess sebum. Using this ingredient, the skin appears clear, has fewer impurities and, redness is reduced promoting better cellular regeneration.
2 Sensitive
Ingredient 2 [In] is a Tasmanian Berry Extract. It provides instant relief from itching and soothes burning sensations while reducing redness. Ideal for sensitive skin prone to reactions, can be used as an aftershave or after-sun treatment.
3 Nourishing
Ingredient 3 [Hy] is a natural Polysaccharide that enhances the skin barrier in fragile or atopic skin. It captures and redistributes water to the skin while stimulating the synthesis of ceramides and lipids. It is an ideal ingredient for protecting the skin against cold weather and harsh conditions.
4 Redness
Ingredient 4 [Ro] is an extract of dormin from the Date Seed. By acting on α-2 adrenergic receptors, the Ro ingredient stimulates microcirculation, dysfunctional in people with rosacea. With this ingredient, the skin's radiance is enhanced, the skin is soothed, and redness is reduced in less than 28 days.
5 Youthfulness
Ingredient 5 [Ox] is a Kakadu Plum Extract and is the world's richest fruit in vitamin C. This ingredient, with its antioxidant properties, helps slow down the appearance of signs of aging, such as wrinkles and fine lines while restoring radiance and uniformity to the complexion.
6 Mattifying
Ingredient 6 [Se] is extracted from Lemon Myrtle Leaves. This ingredient has a sebum-regulating action, meaning it limits the secretion of sebum by the skin. Skin shine is reduced, resulting in a more matte appearance, tightened pores, and reduced appearance of blackheads.
7 Dark Spots
Ingredient 7 [Ta] is a Pitaya Extract, rich in vitamin C and flavonoids which are antioxidant molecules that brighten the skin by reducing the oxidized form of melanin. It helps diminish the appearance of brown spots caused by skin aging and enhances the skin's radiance in less than 28 days.
8 Firming
Ingredient 8 [Fe] is a naturally occurring Lipopeptide in the skin that stimulates collagen and elastin synthesis helping to slow down skin sagging that occurs with age. This ingredient restores a smoother and firmer appearance in just 28 days and reduces the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
9 Hydrating
Ingredient 9 offers a higher concentration of Hyaluronic Acid. It can capture 1000 times its weight in water and plays a role in the process of cellular renewal resulting in more hydrated and plump skin. Naturally found in the skin, it helps prevent signs of aging and maintains good hydration.
