Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride is derived from coconut oil and glycerin and is considered an excellent emollient and skin replenishing ingredient. Its content of beneficial fatty acids helps to limit water loss from the skin, and thus regenerate its hydration barrier.

This ingredient can also work as a texture enhancer to thicken a formula, improve the penetration of key ingredients or improve the application of a cosmetic.
