Product testing validates the efficacy, sensorially, tolerance and perception of the product. The goal is to offer the best cosmetic treatments on the market that meet the expectations of our customers.

No, you do not have to have already used our products or be a customer to do a product test.

Depending on the tested product, different criteria are evaluated and therefore different profiles are sought. Certain skin types or skin concerns may be sought. Also, in order to offer more efficient and inclusive products, certain age groups, ethnicity or gender may be sought.

Product testing is the final step before a new product is marketed. The safety of the ingredients is an obligation and has already been checked beforehand. As with all skin care, we are not immune to a reaction. The risks are the same as if you were buying a new product at the pharmacy. If you have a reaction and/or feelings of discomfort, our Doctor of Pharmacy can take care of you.

Because pregnancy can cause skin changes, pregnant or breastfeeding people cannot test products.

You can test new products before they’re even on the market and participate in their development. You can test existing products for free. You are compensated at the end of the trial either by promotional discounts on products, or by cash or by receiving a free product.

Depending on the type of product tested, photos may be requested several times during the trial period. You will need to sign a consent form for the use of your photos. If your photos are chosen, you can decide whether you want to hide your identity (crop photo, zoom, blurred eyes) or not.

No, you cannot start testing the product at any time in the year following receipt of the product. If you receive the product by mail, the test has begun, so you must start using the product the same day or the next day.

You have the right, without giving a reason, to withdraw from a trial of a product at any time. However, we must be notified as soon as possible.

We carry out between 3 and 4 product tests per year. Depending on your tested product and your profile, you may be selected for a single trial or several. Only selected participants are contacted by our team.

It depends on the product to be tested. Some tests require measurements with scientific devices at the skin level and therefore the displacement to our premises is necessary. For other products, we can mail anywhere in Canada and the United States.
