OMY and the YWCA Quebec

Founded in 1875, YWCA Quebec promotes the well-being, safety and development of the full potential of all women and girls. A leader in its community and a true living environment, the YWCA Quebec contributes to a diverse, inclusive and egalitarian society in which all women and girls participate fully.

Joining Forces Against COVID-19

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit the world in 2021, we put our know-how and facilities at the service of the population. Our team of scientists joined forces with chemists from the Quebec City area; Brilliant Matters, a product of the ULaval Entrepreneurship to formulate and produce a hand sanitizing gel, marketed on a "unit sold, unit given" basis. The program has made over $20,000 worth of hand-sanitizing gels available to the province's healthcare facilities.

Inclusion at the Core of our Values

Celebrating the individuality of each person is woven into the fabric of our identity. It's evident that inclusion stands as a fundamental pillar of our values. This is why we collaborate with Egale Canada and Fondation Émergence.

Founded in 1986, Egale Canada's mission is to contribute to the well-being of 2SLGBTQI individuals through four areas of action: Research, Education, Awareness and Advocacy.

Founded in Montreal in 2000,  Fondation Émergence works with aging 2SLGBTQI people and 2SLGBTQI caregivers to improve their living conditions.

The Koala: An Endangered Species

For over 35 years, the Friends of the Koala Foundation has worked to rehabilitate sick or injured koalas and restore and safeguard their natural habitats. Australia holds a special place in our affections due to our importation of lemon myrtle extract, a key ingredient for crafting our personalized care products.

For every order of this ingredient, we donate to the foundation. From January 5 to 12th 2020, we pledged to donate $15 to the Friends of the Koala Foundation for every customized skincare product sold. Following the forest fires at the end of 2019, we donated a total of $3295. On May 3rd, 2022, for World Wild Koala Day, we donated 5% of the day's sales to the Friends of the Koala Foundation.
