The virtues of natural cucumber extract

It is now possible to opt for a new essence in Omy personalized creams: the natural cucumber extract (Cucumis sativus)!

At Omy Cosmetics, all plant essences add value to products: in addition to giving them a slight odour, they provide benefits to the skin. At Omy, no essential oil is used.

Cucumber extract is no exception, with its fresh, delicate scent and great variety of vitamins and minerals. This adds to the collection of Omy scents already available: rose-vanilla essence (soothing) and mango essence (invigorating). As the other essences offered, the natural extract of cucumber is taken using an extraction technique that is efficient, safe, and environmentally friendly.

Although it is made up of about 95% water, cucumber is a source of vitamin A (reputed to lighten complexion) and many other vitamins known to participate in the maintenance of skin health, such as thiamine (vitamin B₁), pantothenic acid (vitamin B5), vitamin C (antioxidant) and vitamin K. Cucumber also contains minerals beneficial for the skin such as magnesium (soothing) and manganese (antioxidant).
